Educational trip in Oita！
From Saturday, December 6 to Sunday, December 7, we conducted an educational trip for three international students from Miyakonojo National College of Technology. The purpose of this trip was to deepen their understanding of Japanese culture and the diverse regional characteristics of Kyushu, as well as to promote interaction among the international students.
On the first day, we traveled by train to Oita Prefecture in the morning. However, due to a train malfunction and a safety inspection caused by a vehicle collision with a bridge girder along the route, we arrived about an hour later than scheduled. Despite the limited time, we enjoyed visiting one of Oita's popular attractions, the "Umitamago Aquarium," where we interacted with marine creatures and watched a keeper feed adorable otter(Photo No.1).
The following day, we experienced the "Beppu Jigoku (Hell) Tour" starting in the morning. We visited Umi Jigoku, Oniyama Jigoku, and Shiraike Jigoku. The students were amazed by the unique scenery, such as the steaming vents of Umi Jigoku, the crocodiles at Oniyama Jigoku, and the mysterious white pond at Shiraike Jigoku. After completing the tour, we returned safely to Miyakonojo.
This educational trip provided the international students with a valuable opportunity to experience Japan's nature and culture, and it was a meaningful time for fostering closer connections among them.

12月6日（土）から12月7日（日）にかけて、都城高専の留学生3名を対象とした研修旅行を実施しました。この研修旅行の目的は、日本文化や九州の多様な地域的特性への理解を深めるとともに、留学生同士の交流を促進することです。
初日は午前中に電車で大分県へ向かいましたが、車両不具合や途中で発生した橋桁への車両衝突による安全点検の影響で、予定より約1時間遅れて到着しました。限られた時間ではありましたが、大分県の人気スポット「水族館うみたまご」で、海の生き物と触れ合い、飼育員がかわいいカワウソに餌をあげる様子を見ることができ、楽しい時間を過ごしました（Photo No.1）。
翌日は朝から「別府地獄めぐり」を体験しました。海地獄、鬼山地獄、白池地獄を巡り、特に海地獄の噴出する蒸気や、鬼山地獄で見られるワニ、白池地獄の神秘的な白い池など、独特の景観に留学生たちは驚いていました（Photo No.2）。地獄めぐりを終えた後は帰路につき、無事に都城へ戻りました。
今回の研修旅行は、留学生にとって日本の自然や文化を体験する貴重な機会となり、交流を深める有意義な時間となりました。
